The House is a safe place for women, run by women who guide recovery in an environment of understanding while providing the tools that are essential to live and lead a full, productive and balanced life. Our treatment programs, wide range of services and dedicated professionals provide the right environment to help anyone struggling with addiction to alcohol or other drugs. We offer support, care and of course, hope. Our services feature one on one counseling and transformative group work, with individualized treatment plans that focus on each individual’s unique needs and goals. Our holistic approach is grounded with our faith in empowering women to make positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Women in recovery have many specialized needs that range from mental health issues to concerns over childcare, all of which affect their recovery. We offer comprehensive Continuing Care services to ensure our clients have the kind of recovery that lasts a lifetime.
The House of Sophrosyne provides both residential treatment and community-based programs. We provide a client-centered harm reduction model that is non-judgmental. As a predominantly ESC Ontario Health funded organization, we adhere to their principles and philosophies providing seamless intervention in a timely manner.

Housing for pregnant women or new mothers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness following.
A 12-week online program to support those who have completed treatment and are seeking ongoing support.
A 6-week evidence-based addiction/trauma treatment program delivered online three times a week.
A 4-week evidence-based addiction treatment program delivered on site three times a week.
An online, 5-session relapse prevention webinar series held once a month. Can be accessed at any point in client’s recovery.
An online 12-week life skills program for women interested in developing positive experiences in everyday life.
